Nibbles, as Wendall is affectionately known in the House, celebrated his 24th birthday on Monday. Housemates sang him a birthday song and offered him shots to down.

Once they had eaten and had a bit to drink, they took the party to the garden and popped more champagne. Wendall seemed to loosen up and was seen embracing and dancing with fellow Housemates.

This is the fifth birthday party since the Amplified season began. Nkuli, Weza, Lomwe and Mumba had their birthdays in the House and Vimbai baked cake for both Lomwe and Weza in the Heads House, but Wendall's cake was provided by Big Brother. Nkuli and Mumba had their cake provided by Big Brother, as well, in the Tails House.

Wendall's party provided a much needed distraction for the tension that is usually associated with Nominations. Stay tuned to DStv Channel 198 and the Big Brother website to see if the outcomes of the Nominations show, at 20:00 CAT, will put a damper on Wendall's celebrations.
